Contemporary Fused Glass Art from Cowes

Brian graduated from Portsmouth Art College in 1970 and then started a graphic design practice on the Isle of Wight. After 40 successful years as ‘Marriott Design’ one of the South’s leading design studios, Brian decided to turn a new chapter in his creative life to concentrate on being an equally successful artist/designer. Brian has reinvented himself, combining a professional life in design, a love of painting and glass with an instinctive desire for creativity.

Brian has created an original range of sculpted glass pictures inspired by the landscapes and coastline of the Isle of Wight.  Brian works exclusively with recycled waste glass fragments from the famous Isle of Wight Studio Glass. These unique handmade pictures have evolved as a direct development of his design skills, combining an understanding of composition and visual presentation.
